I specialize in installing tile in showers. Tiling a shower so that it does not leak and cause considerable damage to the underlying floor and walls is not as simple as it seems. I've redone many showers that was tiled by other installers because their work failed.

I'm not trying to cut down other installers I'm merely stating a fact; many installers tile showers as they would a floor or backsplash and nine times out of ten it fails. The cost to tile a shower properly is expensive because it is labor intensive. If you're not willing or are able to make the proper investment you may want to consider getting a fiberglass shower unit instead and just run the tile up to it.

When I price a job I never compete with another tile installer's price. I would rather they try to compete with the quality of my work instead.
